She was very accommodating to our needs, friendly, and so much fun to be around. She made the entire experience enjoyable and helped make our trip truly memorable. A special shout-out to our drivers — Aslan, Babajan, Yaksa, and Amir — who were all excellent drivers. We felt safe and adventurous on the road, and we really appreciated their professionalism and care throughout the journey. An Unforgettable Three Days in Turkmenistan! My friend and I, both from Japan, joined Tm Tourism’s three-day tour from October 12 to 14, 2026. It was our first visit to Turkmenistan, and an experience we will never forget. Our wonderful guide, Bahtiyar, accompanied us from the entry procedures at the Shavat border through Dashoguz, the Karakum Desert, Darvaza, Ashgabat, and Ancient Merv to Mary. He was always friendly, thoughtful, and attentive, and made the entire journey special. At the Darvaza Gas Crater (“Gates of Hell”), watching the flames under a sky full of stars was unlike anything we had ever seen. The sight was breathtaking and deeply moving. The yurt camp was comfortable, and the food was delicious. We were also amazed by the size of the Mud Crater and Water Crater. Special thanks to Yashka, who drove us from Dashoguz to Ashgabat. Despite the rough desert roads, his driving was smooth and reassuring. When we had a flat tire on the way to Darvaza, he changed it in about five minutes! His quick response was impressive. Ashgabat was another highlight, especially because Bahtiyar planned a unique itinerary just for us. He took us to a local market where we bought wonderful souvenirs, and the hat and bracelet he personally gave us are now treasures. We loved visiting a horse-breeding farm and trying horseback riding. The architecture of Saparmurat Niyazov’s mausoleum and the Türkmenbaşy Ruhy Mosque was beautiful. The views from the indoor Ferris wheel at the Alem Cultural and Entertainment Center were spectacular, and the Monument of Neutrality was awe-inspiring. Dinner at a restaurant overlooking Ashgabat’s illuminated skyline was a perfect end to the day. We were genuinely touched by how much care Bahtiyar put into planning it. Thank you also to Mais, our driver in Ashgabat, and Dovlet, who drove us onward from Ashgabat. Their kind support made the journey comfortable and enjoyable. At Ancient Merv, Bahtiyar guided us through many ruins and explained their history in fascinating detail. We learned so much, and the panoramic view from Erk Kala was unforgettable. We are also grateful to Dowlet, Bahtiyar’s supervisor, who joined us in Turkmenabat and helped with our departure procedures at the Farap border. We were delighted by the Tm Tourism T-shirt and cap we received as farewell gifts! The landscapes and history were extraordinary, but the warmth and professionalism of everyone we met made this trip truly special. As travelers from Japan, we felt so welcome. The tour itself was very interesting and saw everything that I wanted to and more that I wasn't expecting. The drivers Asland, Jashka, Babayan, and Nadir also did a great job. One of the best experiences of my life! Everything was amazing, from our incredible tour guide Lale to our fantastic drivers Asland, Jashka, Babayan, and Nadir. Everyone was so positive, friendly, and passionate about sharing their country, culture, and traditions with us. The food was delicious, and the entire trip was perfectly organised from start to finish. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. The excursion was absolutely amazing and a truly memorable experience 🔥 There were some issues at immigration due to the new electronic visa procedure, which were completely out of the agency’s control, but they were extremely helpful in resolving everything and were always available on WhatsApp to support me throughout the process. The guide was fantastic and did a great job adapting the itinerary to the new circumstances, especially since I had already lost quite a lot of time crossing the border. He was very knowledgeable and explained the history, culture and incredible sights of Turkmenistan in a really interesting way. Watching the sunrise over the crater with camels in the background was the perfect finishing touch and made the experience even more special. I would also recommend bringing a long, warm pajama, as it can get quite cold at night in the yurt 100% recommended! My only regret is that I wish I had come alearlier, so I could have seen the crater when the flames were even stronger. It was a truly wonderful and unforgettable experience!

Dear TM Tourism, We appreciate TM Tourism's efforts to arrange compensation, but we feel compelled to formally submit a complaint. During the tour (June 23–27, 2026), serious misconduct by the guide (Mr. Sheikh) affected the itinerary and the rights of the travelers. **Main issues:** 1) **Pricing information was unclear and repeatedly changed** (Day 1 and Day 2). We missed photography time and suffered **actual damage**. The guide repeatedly gave contradictory information (including claiming the cost of visiting the UNESCO site Kunya-Urgench was **50 USD per person**), although we later confirmed that the entrance ticket was already included in the tour price. This is unacceptable. Additional information: On **Day 1**, information about the **entrance ticket / photography cost** changed repeatedly before the visit. On **Day 2**, shortly before boarding, the information about the entrance ticket price and its amount was altered. The day before boarding, we were informed that entry to the historic site required payment, and we were notified that **each person needed to pay 50 USD**. After that, we were told that if we decided not to pay for entry, we could still **drive around the historic site by car to take photos**. However, later this information was changed again. Dangerous roads were cited as the reason, and we were advised to forego entering. In the end, after rechecking the itinerary, we discovered that the tour price already included the entrance ticket. Such treatment made it extremely difficult for us to make a reasonable decision, affected the actual organization of entry, and led to **real losses** during the trip. 2) **Poor time management** resulted in repeated delays (about **30 minutes** on Day 3; **10 minutes** on Day 4). 3) **Key points and compensation details were not clearly explained in advance**. We only learned about this upon arrival at the hotel. 4) **Inadequate itinerary planning** (including a lack of advance toilet arrangements and unclear explanations regarding entry/opening times). 5) **Contradictory explanations** regarding delays and travel times. 6) **Inappropriate behavior and violation of privacy**: a female traveler was picked up from behind **without her consent**. **Our demands:** 1) Provide a written **reimbursement** for **measurable losses** caused by the payment confusion: **50 USD per person**. 2) Provide **appropriate compensation / service fee deduction** for delays and disruptions. 3) Conduct an **internal investigation** and provide a written response regarding the payment discrepancies and the **unauthorized contact incident**. Такое отношение к нам крайне затруднило принятие разумного решения, повлияло на фактическую организацию входа и привело к **реальным убыткам** во время поездки. 2) **Плохое управление временем** привело к неоднократным задержкам (около **30 минут** в 3-й день; **10 минут** в 4-й день). 3) **Ключевые моменты и детали компенсации не были четко объяснены заранее**. Мы узнали об этом только по прибытии в отель. 4) **Недостаточное планирование маршрута** (включая отсутствие заблаговременной организации туалетов и нечеткие объяснения времени входа/открытия). 5) **Противоречивые объяснения** относительно задержек и времени в пути. 6) **Ненадлежащее поведение и нарушение конфиденциальности**: женщину-путешественницу подобрали сзади **без ее согласия**. **Наши требования:** 1) Предоставить письменный **возмещение** **измеримых убытков**, вызванных путаницей с оплатой: **50 долларов США на человека**. 2) Предоставить **соответствующую компенсацию / вычет платы за услуги** за задержки и сбои. 3) Провести **внутреннее расследование** и дать письменный ответ относительно несоответствий в оплате и **инцидента с несанкционированным доступом**.
